1. Job Shop Powder Coating Selling  “Good” -  “Better” – “Best”
Speaker: Mike Cravens,
IKON Powder Coating / Powder Finishing Consultants, Inc.

“Quality is in the eyes of the beholder”, or so it is said…  The details of quality should be listed in the written agreements that dictate the accept/reject criteria and set the pace for the expected service life of a given finish in a particular environment. By offering a good, better, best option on the quotation document a company may be able to limit their liability when negotiating price with the purchasing agent on day one, and battling the poor quality war that soon follows.  Consideration of the surface, physical, and environmental characteristics of a given finish must be addressed as well as the product design, fabrication, and expected service life.  Processes are cost driven, and quality has a price.
